Brian has experience working across private practice, multidisciplinary clinics, aged care and community healthcare settings, managing a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions.

His clinical interests include the assessment and management of:

  • Chronic heel pain and plantar fasciitis
  • Achilles tendinopathy
  • Running-related injuries and overuse conditions
  • Youth athlete performance and injury management
  • Complex biomechanical presentations
  • Ingrown toenail procedures

Brian has a strong interest in biomechanics and orthotic therapy, and integrates custom orthotics with rehabilitation strategies to support foot and lower limb function.

Brian’s approach to care

Brian takes an evidence-based and performance-focused approach to podiatry care. His consultations aim to provide patients with a clear understanding of their condition and the factors contributing to it.

Treatment plans typically include:

  • clear diagnosis and explanation of symptoms
  • education around contributing factors
  • load modification strategies rather than complete activity cessation where appropriate
  • rehabilitation exercises and movement strategies
  • orthotic therapy when indicated

His goal is to help patients understand their condition and provide a structured management plan that supports long-term foot and lower limb health.

A podiatrist who understands sport

Outside the clinic, Brian is actively involved in strength training and running and competes in HYROX events in Australia and internationally. He previously played competitive football in the National Premier Leagues (NPL).

This personal involvement in sport provides a strong understanding of:

  • training cycles
  • injury frustrations
  • performance goals
  • load management during recovery.

What patients appreciate

Patients often comment on Brian’s:

  • clear explanations
  • direct and honest communication
  • structured treatment plans
  • ability to listen and understand their concerns
  • practical advice that supports remaining active

Brian works with active adults, youth athletes and individuals experiencing persistent foot or lower limb pain who are seeking a clear plan for managing their condition.
