Brisbane Foot and Orthotics

Sports podiatry

At Brisbane Foot & Orthotics, we work with athletes and active individuals who want to continue training while addressing injury or pain affecting performance.

Many sports injuries develop gradually due to repetitive loading, training volume, biomechanical factors or changes in footwear and surfaces. Our consultations aim to identify contributing factors and develop a structured management plan tailored to the athlete’s training demands and goals.

Who sports podiatry is for

Our sports podiatry services support a wide range of athletes and active individuals.

This includes:

  • distance runners (5 km to marathon runners)
  • Hyrox, crossfit and hybrid athletes
  • field sport athletes such as AFL, rugby and soccer players
  • court sport athletes including netball, basketball and tennis players
  • triathletes and endurance athletes
  • teenage competitive athletes
  • active adults training for events, fitness or weight loss

Many of our patients train three to seven days per week and want guidance that allows them to continue training safely during recovery.
